Hot Trends New Trends of 2012

Hot Trends New Trends of 2012
Got the New Year blues? Confused on what to wear for 2012? Look no further. Here are the brand new trends for the new year.
Trend #1: Bright skinny jeans
Remembering when these were in style back in 2009? Well they are back! Bright blue, red, and green are the best colors, since although they are bold, they are still pretty basic.
What to wear with them: It’s best to wear a sofer color with them, such as a light blue, silver, or any metallic. Do not try to add another bright color, as it would compete with the already brightness of the pants. Experiment with different patterns and shapes, as they are still jeans and can be worn with (ALMOST) anything.
Trend #2: braided hair
Try anything from a pony-tail with a braid added in to pigtail braids. My favorite look is a loose, messy braid to the side. This looks best with long hair, and short hair looks best with the pigtail braids. Try fish-tails, French, corn-rows, and even a triple braid. To do the triple braid, make three braids and braid them. It looks complicated and sophisticated, but it only took you a few minutes.
Trend #3 The smoky eye
Many people have fallen victim to the smokey eye. Some have failed, others have succeeded. Do not make a big black hot mess. Blend colors. Start with a dark-gray, not black, on the bottom of the eye-lid, closes to the lashes. Start dark and push lighter as you get to the crease of the eye. Add a light blue or purple to the top of that. The key is to BLEND. Do not cake the layers on top of each other. That is how many have failed. You should not be able to see where you changed colors. Apply the blue/purple to the bottom of the eye brow. Finish off the look with chic eye-liner with a cat-eye and basic black mascara. For the lip, a simple gloss will do, but for a bolder look, go for the classic red lip. Whatever you do for your lips, try not to go darker than 2 shades darker than your natural lip color. Its much more flattering that way ;]
Well, I hope you have learned a lot through this. Follow all my advice, and avoid an embarrassing fashion no-no. You will be ahead of all your friends for once, and will be able to teach them these tips and tricks. Just don’t, t, don’t, don’t, DON’T mix trend #1 with #3. Brights skinnies with a dark-eye. Makes me cringe. :)
